Morphemic Analysis may be used during reading to improve students'

comprehension in conjunction with two other strategies.


Morphemic Analysis 
      using parts of the word to decipher an unknown word

Context clues
      students refer to the context to ensure that their meaning makes sense

Consulting a dictionary or glossary
      students clarify the meaning of the word
